There is also the possibility of going from the SeaTac airport to Tacoma on an express bus if needed, and getting Amtrak there. The effective trip becomes slower, but is still competitive with the series of transit buses on I-5. However, they do go to the airport, and backtracking to King Street Station on Link isn’t too bad.
